H.VIR® Type SMART
The H.VIR® Type SMART takes infrared windows to the next level: it doesn’t just monitor; it predicts electrical equipment malfunctions 24/7. The H.VIR® Type SMART window combines 2 essential features: a classic H.VIR® type 21 infrared window for manual inspection (via thermal control) and a thermal sensor that is connected by IoT to provide fully autonomous temperature measurement.
A technology of choice to carry out maintenance operations under normal electrical load conditions (low and high voltage), without pre-inspection or production stoppage. It can be installed on new equipment or retrofitted in place of an existing H.VIR®.
Equipped with a next-generation thermal sensor (from Calumino) and connected via the LoRaWAN IoT protocol, this smart device continuously monitors your electrical equipment for hot spots in real time (automatic determination of the points to be monitored). If a fixed temperature is exceeded, the H.VIR® Type SMART alerts you by SMS and email.
The device’s AI capabilities also enable it to predict the deterioration of electrical equipment connections with an accuracy ranging from two weeks to six months.
