Maintenance in Heavy Industry

Wintech Groupe accompanies heavy industry (mines, metallurgy, steel industry, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, etc.) in the protection of their goods and equipment.
Our optomechanical system ranges contribute to reducing fire risks from electrical equipment.

The H.VIR® range of infrared windows allows preventive maintenance of electrical equipment when coupled with thermography. The detection of hot points can be achieved without opening faceplates and in a condition of normal electrical charge.

In H.VIR® range of optical windows, the H.VIR® 85 type Exr® infrared window has been specially designed for use in explosive atmospheres in compliance with EU Directive 2014/34/EU.

The Smart IR Camera from UTC®, Wintech Groupe’s latest innovation, is an autonomous and connected infrared detector (IoT). It allows for real time 24/7 surveillance of electrical equipment.

For the control and surveillance of furnaces, we have designed custom-made infrared optical windows.

Examples of H.VIR® infrared optical window creations for the heavy industry:

  • Manufacturing of H.VIR® infrared windows for the Jean Féger Scientific and Technical Centre of Total Energies.
  • Manufacturing of several hundred H.VIR® infrared windows for the preventive maintenance of electrical equipment of the Peugeot de Mulhouse factory.
  • Manufacturing of more than 100 H.VIR® infrared windows for the preventive maintenance of electrical equipment at the minced steak factory used by McDonald’s and Moy Park Beef Orleans
