Wintech Groupe unveils the detector and IR window H.VIR® Type SMART. It is a unique device that combines the advantages and features of two technologies already well-known in the field of electrical risk prevention: the H.VIR® infrared windows and the connected, autonomous UTC® detector. This new equipment takes the monitoring and preventive maintenance of electrical installations to an unprecedented level, thanks to the integration of a next-generation thermal sensors and artificial intelligence tools capable of predicting anomalies well before they cause a fire.

The H.VIR® Type SMART is the result of several years of research. It is a new type of temperature sensor equipped with a viewing window, providing optimal control and visibility of your electrical equipment. It is powered by a high-performance Calumino thermal sensor and connected to the Internet of Things (IoT) via the LoRaWAN protocol. This configuration enables continuous, wireless monitoring 24/7.

Positioned on electrical cabinets or panels, the infrared window provides secure visual control, while the algorithm continuously analyses thermal data to identify critical areas.

Predict rather than monitor

Thanks to an advanced algorithm, the H.VIR® Type SMART automatically detects hot spots by analysing temperature curves. These readings are updated every three hours on the Supervision software, providing an accurate and regular overview of the status of your installations. If the temperature exceeds the limit, the system triggers an immediate alert via SMS and by email, allowing you to step in well before a breakdown or fire occurs.

But the integrated AI goes even further: it is capable of predicting the deterioration of electrical connectors over a period ranging from two weeks to six months, providing valuable advance notice for planning maintenance operations.
