UTC-System Lauches the New UTC for the Dectection and prevention of Industrial Risks

After three years of development, Wintech Groupe is proud to announce the launch of the UTC Ultimate Temperature Control®, an innovative and ground-breaking technology for risk prevention on industrial and other protected sites. Offering the optimal protection of people and assets, these unique preventive devices mark the beginning of a new era in risk detection.

Infrared engineering combined with an intelligent optronic solution to prevent structural and human risks

Developed by UTC-System, a subsidiary of Wintech Groupe, the UTC is an autonomous and connected (IoT) infrared detector dedicated to the prevention and detection of risks (fire, intrusion, etc.) on industrial and other protected sites. Once installed in a strategic position, the UTC provides 24/7/365 continuous monitoring and surveillance.

These innovative preventive devices are programmed to send real time notifications when risks are detected (hot spots on electrical equipment, start of fire, intrusion, etc.). In case of proven risk, an audible alarm is triggered on site and alerts are sent by email or SMS. The UTC detectors are connected to an interface called UTC Supervision that allows you to manage and control all devices in real time.

UTC SD, the first device in the range

UTC-System’s detector comes in 3 series, each defined by the range of the UTC field of view (Short Distance, Medium Distance and Long Distance). The launch of this new innovative technological solution is accompanied by the commercialization of the first series: the UTC SD (Short Distance) which covers a distance of 0.15 m to 10 m using a Fish-eye (wide angle of 115°).

The launch of the UTC MD: Medium Distance series (autonomous detector with a range from 0.5m to 150m) is scheduled for 2025. That of the UTC LD: Long Distance (autonomous detector with a range between 2m and 5km) is expected for 2026.

A team of passionate experts and trusted partners at the service of innovation

Innovation in the field of intelligent optical and optronic solutions is part of Wintech Groupe’s DNA. The development of the UTC is based on the historical know-how of SOREM, another subsidiary of Wintech Groupe. SOREM is specialized in precision optics and infrared engineering. The UTC is also the result of the efforts of a passionate team. Experts that have pooled their expertise and experience to offer a unique technological innovation on the industrial risk prevention market. Wintech Groupe would also like to thank its trusted partners: the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, Bpifrance, Estia (L’École supérieure des technologies industrielles avancées), ABF Décisions and the Rance tidal power plant (first experimental site for the UTC SD series).
